Jedi Pimp
Maybe not in diesel form until the emissions are worked out, but some underlying technology could be used for a gas turbo engine. Notice how it uses a timing chain instead of belt. Also the turbo is mounted down low very close to the exhaust exit which would remove the uppipe and help boost response. The common rail direct injection system could also be applied to a gas engine as well.
NovaWolverine
Has there been anything new on the Legacy at the Chicago show? I wouldn't expect it to make headlines that a GT showed up, so I have no idea.
fzanetti
Yeah right... Doubt seeing that in the US till a looooooooooong time ahead.... But it's indeed great to see Subaru of Europe making the moves to compete with other German diesel cars.... Flavio Zanetti Boston, MA

Jon in CT
I wonder what kind of gas mileage that thing will get.I'd guess infinite gas mileage given that it can power a car for hundreds of thousands of miles without consuming a drop of gas.
