dv8ingvector
Anyone else have any interest in a custom 2 and or 3 gauge pod for the A-pillar? This would make it possable for you to upgrade to the nav when it becomes available and still keep a factory looking knock, boost, and or what ever other gauge you wanted? I might be willing to put up my pillar if enough of you guys have an interest? details at link below http://www.gaugepods.com/custom.html i have one in my ss and it is great! LandShark
I would be interested in an A-pillar gauge pod. 2 or 3 gauges would be fine. I don't want it to look "too cheap" though. Any chance that those of us with the beige interior could get the pod in beige plastic color?
dv8ingvector
I believe we can, they mention that color matching is extra but they can do it. I was thinking the tannish color is the only one we would need, as all of the pillars and roofs are the same. However i think we are going to be on are own if we want to add the fabric, like the stock one...got a couple PMs about it too come on guys we need more interest
LandShark
Some guys are probably worried about the "rice effect" with the A-pillar gauges. I happen to think they will look pretty cool and fit a car with its performance capabilities. I mean it does matter what the oil temp & pressure is. Unlike those who monitor it on a 125 hp Civic. Besides, I already put XM Radio into my dash box and don't really need a nav system. I like the 3-gauge package that you can from Japan but it costs more than a freakin $1grand. rodan
The problem is going to be the airbag in the a-pillar. Judging by other gauge pods I have seen, there will only be room for a single. A double or triple will interfere with the side curtain deployment, and you will get a face full of gauges in a wreck... I would expect that someone will have a pod out for the LGT fairly soon... Has anyone tried fitting a WRX pod to see if it matches the a-pillar profile??

dv8ingvector
humm? I was under the impression that the side air-bags cam out of the door, roof, and seat...well according to the manual anyway!? if that is not the case? scratch that idea i don't want that guy with a face full of gauges...ouch
