Andyjo
I was wondering if anyone made clamps for the aero-bar style crossbars.. or has themselves... I'm trying to mount some lights up there for midnight excursions, and don't really feel like drilling into the front bumper of the obxt the two big lights oh the tube bumper in this pic: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/data/500/postcave.jpg If i can't find anything i suppose i could get some aluminum billet and mill it to the proper geometry... but it's a pain in the ass to mill a wing shape... NutBucket
You should be able to get Yakima Mighty Mounts to fit the aero crossbars for cheap; maybe $10-$20 a pair. Seems you can use a Mighty Mount 24H (horizontal), 2V (vertical) or the Universal. H and V refer to the direction of the bolts.

A_Tang
Is that a snorkel? Any other pics of the car? I'd love to see how the exhaust is routed... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/data/500/postcave.jpg ...
Andyjo
Is that a snorkel? Any other pics of the car? I'd love to see how the exhaust is routed... exhaust is routed in the stock location... just have to keep the rpms up in deeper water although.. it is running an 03' WRX exhaust... other pics... not sure if you have to be a member to view them: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=10420 yeah... i love my OBS... although the OBXT is a little more run to drive... the OBS has: 2" lift 03 WRX exhaust Custom Snorkel More lights than ever needed AWD-4WD mod. Custom Tube bumper lots of other goodies... oh yeah, i got some mighty mounts (2 sets, because they messed up the order, and i got 1 for the price of 1..) and they look like they'll fit.. it's way to cold out to play with them now though. Andyjo
Oh boy, so somewhere i posted pics of the OBXT with the lightforces up top not wired up... .but man i love these things... So, here's the a few shots Lights off: http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o206/AgentBCOC/DSC05707.jpg Lights On: http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o206/AgentBCOC/DSC05711.jpg These lights rock.. they actually saved my life the other night, i was cruising back from albany, it was slightly misting, and i was traveling as speeds which well exceeded the speed limit, back roads in NH, flipped the lights on, because of the poor visibility... all the sudden i notice a VERY LARGE DEER down the road. Well, i realize it's not a deer, it's a moose, a very angry moose, so i lock up the wheels, come to a screeching hault about 20 ft from the moose, whose facial expression was 'what are you doing on my road?'. we sort of had a state down for 30 seconds or so, until it turned around and wandered off into the woods... i think it may be blind now, because it was staring right into the lights whoah! yay for massive lights! Viss1
Just wondering if you (or anyone) ended up trying the MightyMounts... I'm thinking of going with that solution for my stock crossbars.
