I just re-edited my last post to reflect that. I think you will be ok and will probably NOT need to roll the fenders, BUT! you need to take off that rubber stripping on the fender lip to clear it. Otherwise you'll burn and rip off that weather-stripping fender edge protector right off. If you can get a +48 offset, it would be BEST! Keefe

The column NEXT to the "A,B,C,D" is the RIM DEPTH column.. and since you are going for big brakes, the depth of rims in the size table denotes the length from flanges to faces of disks. Soooo, you'll need the smallest lip available AND be able to get the HIGHEST offset that they offer. So according to the chart, you will be going with: 18"x8" column C at +50 offset with a 50mm rim depth (5x100). If you get column B's (more brake caliper clearance) +43mm offset might be a bit scary on fitting on the car because it will come VERY close to rubbing, especially when lowering.. what tire size are you expecting to use?? for 18"x8"?? To be on the safe side, if you go with +43, roll the fenders to clear a set of 255/35/18 tires or 245/35/18 tires. Keefe

So your sayin that if i went with a +50, i would have a bigger lip? And it would be 2"? Wow...sounds nice. Plus the +50 would clear a brembo or stoptech 4 piston bbk. Sounds nice. And correct me if im wrong, but you can have about a 2 inch drop on the +50's with 255/35/18 without having to roll the fender?

Rays is weird when it comes to the GT-7s.. I would opt the +50 for more lip, but your chances to clear a set of BBKs will lessen cuz of the 7mm you would gain if you used the +43mm offset. From the links I gave you, Offset "A" numbers give you the most clearance for brake calipers, "B" is next, and "C" clears most stock upgraded calipers (excludes Brembos that are offered on cars as an option). "D" offsets are basically just to fit the car with the stock brakes. For your later question, the 2" lip is really dependent on the rim design (as I was talking about before on 'fake' lips are made to acheive the lip look by bending the spokes in towards the wheel). The 2" drop with coilovers and running 255/35/18 on 18"x8" with a +50mm offset will not need fender rolling. Thanks for clarifying the a,b,c,d for me. What the last column? Center bore? I guess I will go with +43 instead b/c I would rather know I have a better chance of sticking stop tech or brembos in there. I mean, gaining 7 mm on the lip is not that great. (barely 1/3 of an inch)

Center bore?[/QUOTE] the column next to "offset D" is rim depth, or lip I am assuming.. the math doesnt work out right if that particular measurement would represent the inboard face of the rim. Usually, when ordering Volks, you will have to specify the car so that they can drill out a counter-sink center bore out JUST for your car, thus not needing to buy a set of hub-centric rings. Keefe
