Legacy05
So I am thinking about getting an aftermarket intake, and then getting a custom tune. (Currently @ Stage 2). Which intake is better? The AVO Short Ram? K&N Typhoon? or the AEM CAI? Price point wise the AVO Short Ram looks nice

Legacy05
Thanks for the feedback guys, so ... where is the best place to purchase the AEM CAI? Thanks again!
mickeyd2005
I found it for $224 shipped from hopupracing.com. TDC said that they would beat any advertised price, so they'll probably give it to you for $223? http://www.hopupracing.com/aemcoairinsy34.html

hal9e3
Can't remember if Protuned is a TDC term but if so buy the AEM from them and they'll cut you a good deal on a (required) new map. That's what I did and hopefully I'll be able to install it this weekend.
mickeyd2005
seen it for $188 on ebay. Oh yeah, I forgot to check ebay. However, that seller was selling it for $188+35 = $223 shipped. There is another ebay seller selling it for $185+30 = $215 shipped. TDC said that they would "try" to match eBay so you might want to mention that to them. Legacy05
yea I saw those, I was going to include those, but its pretty near damn close. I am going to get a local protune done here at Dynocomp.. as much as I am sure the TDC maps rock, I think a true Dyno Tune will be better. Plus our gas in Arizona sucks.
