Legacy05
Does anyone have pictures of their front lower brace installed? Also, is this something that is easy to install? I was thinking of placing jackstands right under the control arms (I think thats what they are called) to do the install .... Thanks!
whitetiger
its a very easy install, but dont put jacks under the control arms. you will have to unbolt them to install the brace. just jack up the car at the jackpoints specified in the owners manual. Legacy05
Ok that makes sense, my guess is you need to remove the Front Arm Support Brace ... and the CUSCO plate goes behind it correct? I only have one jack that works to lift up the car due to how the jack points are setup .. what are other people using to jack both sides up??? Hmmmmm. Thanks again! whitetiger
a jack and jack stands. always use jack stands. never work under a car only supported by a jack.
Legacy05
Right .. but the jack stands I have, they don't have a slot to fit into the body on the mount point like the jack that comes with the car .. if that makes sense.
PeterJMC
I've had my underbraces sitting in my house for the past 6 months. I haven't gotten around to installing front or rear yet :-( From what Keefe noted in post #3, it took 2.5 hours to install. Searched: cusco underbrace install -Nice pictures of them installed http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10734&highlight=cusco+underbrace+install -Some answers to questions of the install http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19618&highlight=cusco+underbrace+install Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm going to tackle this one of these days...

whitetiger
the stands dont need a slot. just let rest on top of the stand, it wont go anywhere.
