CasopoliS
A friend of mine at work owns a 99 LGT. I know nothing about these cars.... so I will post here like a n00b. He wants to remove the radio to install an in-line fm transmitter. He is having problems getting the trim off. I have not looked at the car yet, I am sure I could figure it out.... but someone want to give some guidance or notes? If its easy enough, I will just forward the instructions onto him. Thanks in advance.
SLegacy99
Its not hard. Pull out the cup holders. Unscrew the screws to the left and right. Remove the ashtray. Unscrew the the screws in the top of the ashtray compartment. Pull up carefully as to not break the tab on the bottom of the radio bezel. Might even want to pop out (not remove, just pop) the center consel around the shifter to make it easier.
