dsmith
Hey all, I just got a Legacy GT wagon on Saturday, and I noticed quite a few water spots on it already. :-( Does anyone know a good way to remove them? I'm pretty sure it came from the dealer that way, as I've only washed the car once and I dried it thoroughly. Unfortunately I didn't notice them at the dealer, or else I would have had them remove them. I have seen on this board that a mixture of 1/2 distilled white vinegar and 1/2 water is a trick that many detailers use to remove them. But my concern is that it will damage the new paint/clearcoat (I haven't waxed the car yet). Any opinions on that? Any other thoughts? Thanks, Doug
kanoswrx
Get the meguires 3 step process set. I had some spots on my bumper and the polish really did an amazing job or fixing it. What looked like it had eaten through the clearcoat was completely fixed you could never tell it was there. The stuff really works on removing blemishes.
