SLStormin
Have OBP car with what I assume to be a dealer installed silver tape pinstripe. I'm thinking that car would look better without the stripe but am not into DIY experiment to remove it myself. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks. Guinnesspower
Hair dryer on low to med using a sweeping motion while slowly peeling pinstripes (crap enhancement) away. Softens up glue enough to get an "almost" residue free surface. Keep it at a safe distance 2-3 inches from paint and don't leave dryer in one area for extended period of time.. You can then use alcohol (not the good stuff ) and remove the excess gunk. Also, good way to remove those shiny emblems on the rear of the car. There was a post similar to this...I just modified the heat from the sun (Dec in upstate NY) to using the hairdryer in the garage. Heated enough to basically peel the shiny crap off the rear.
