GTLTDGOLFR
I'm likely going to get a Cobb AccessPort. It's also been suggested to replace the UP pipe. Together I'll have a nice and noticeable boost. My question: if I do these, will I get turned down immediately if I bring the car in for warranty service? (I know that the mods do result in voiding the warranty by contract). If I did the accessport alone, would the answer be the same or different? Has anybody received warranty service even if the dealer's aware of the mods?
zmarko
Depends on the dealer. Some are mod-friendly, some are not. There are plenty of people on here who have gotten warranty work done with modded LGT's. But I'd revert to stock before taking a car in for service (until you know if they're mod friendly or not). jerseyglock
Yes, you can kiss your warranty goodbye! Techs at dealership will look for paint marks on the bolts and nuts too.
