deeslk
Does anyone know if there is a difference in the suspension in a regular 07 Legacy 2.5i and a Legacy 2.5GT. Thanks
ebpda9
i know the 05-06 2.5i's had a softer suspension, so i would imagine that the same holds true for the 07's. there is no physical difference in the parts.
ShockerGT
2.5i has different struts than the GT. Springs may be different too. GT has slightly stiffer swaybars front and rear too.
Guest subiecity
struts were different? the ones i bought mounted just fine for the front and rear, i have a 2.5i and these were off a gt
ShockerGT
They are different in terms of dampening and rebound. The GT struts are better suited for handling on lowering springs. Trust me, I did the test on my old 2.5i with pinks on stock struts and same springs on GT struts. Plus, part numbers are different.
rzar
So would aftermarket lowering springs for the GT work on the 2.5i?
SeattleLegacy
^^^sure, but you're better off getting the GT dampners and putting the springs on those. the 2.5i ones are pretty floaty (due to less dampening) and with the higher rate of lowering springs, you'll get a lot of bounce.
