Shrugs... would be worse if we were paying the whole Vehicle License Fee that ex-Governor Davis reinstituted. Thankfully, the Governator rescinded it as the first order of business when he took office. Otherwise it would be something like 2% of annual estimated value and based on new purchase price or ~$560 for VLF alone. Only slightly less than that next year because Subes depreciate so darn slow.
