Atroz
HI, I've never had my windows tinted during the winter months. I was wondering if there are any issues with having it done when the temperatures are below freezing? I know that a soapy water is used to apply tint and that they take a few days to dry. What happens if that fluid freezes instead of dries? Will the cold and dry air cause it to try faster, or mess things up? Thanks.
941LE
Had mine tinted last February when I first bought the car...no problems. They get hazy for a few days (had this same experience when I had a previous car tinted in June) and then they clear up...park in the sun if you can, and be sure to take any further precaution recommended by the installer. pillboy
Just takes longer for the water to "dry out" from under the film. Will stay hazy longer...no big deal. Park in the sun as much as you can. It is still ugly.
