The Don Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 in first gear from a dead stop once it hits red line it feels as if it stopss than kicks back in. Is It ECU, over boosting, electric kicks out idk...(06 TDC stage 2 AT LGT) I didnt try it again... maybe its just 1st gear and not from a stop. waverunner Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 I have the same thing happen and i believe it is the rev limiter, mine wont do it until i bounce it off the redline.it acts like it cuts out the fuel until the rpms decrease below the redline limit.i dont have a problem with it unless i dont shift quick enough.i would not worry about it. The transmission isn't programmed for such quick acceleration and doesn't begin its shift soon enough. As far as I know, no vendor is working on reprogramming the transmission controller because it isn't profitable enough to bother with.
