TommyG63 Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 this may have been covered somewhere, but from searching i couldn't really find a clear answer. anyhow, can someone fill me in on if it is safe to run cobb stage 2 with a downpipe, and an up pipe? with just the stock stage 2 map from cobb. from what i read there might be a problem. but from other things i read it could end in tragedy running the stock up pipe with a stage 2/aftermarket downpipe. ready for the up/down install tomarrow sometime, but want to make sure it is safe to run until i get the extra cash to get a custom tdc map. The only worry would be with a DP only, as the cat in the UP has been know to break apart and chew up the turbo. I would recommend a catless UP even for stage 1.
