the black cap on the back of the bulb that the clear shipping cover clips in to.

do you cut it off? dremel? leave it on? any good suggestions?

wiggle the gromet and wires thru it to take it off, don't break it it's handy to put your stock bulbs in and keep 'em safe !!:)
