Parousia
We cannot control a CD changer from the factory deck so this leaves us no way to operate the unit. Parousia

Parousia
I believe the US VDC Outback can but no other deck... BTW it is labeled MP3 so you will know if it can.. Parousia
DAP
Manual covers 3 different radios. The one that plays MP3 is only available in the outback.
brad21
The deck will play converted audio cd's. So in other words if you burn 80 minutes of music on to a CD-R you're good to go. Otherwise you need to buy the MP3 deck which is around $600 from what somebody else posted.
godwhomismike
That would be a really nice addition. I'd love to get one of those. :D - Mike
John M
I have one, aka the Kenwood Music Keg (same device) and love it. It's now at Crutchfield for $350 and a compatible FM modulator (still displays artist/title info) is $100. I used my 20 gig unit with a Kenwood Excelon head unit. Since I'll soon be building a carputer, my Keg temporarily has no home. Here's a pic of a keg I installed in a Lexus LS430 And the controller
crapy
According to my searchings, if the car's steering wheel is connected to the cd/radio player, you can control the phatbox too. eg, Fastforward, pause etc. at least, it is proven by the G35 owners.... anyways, this is really a nice solution. i just hope it will work on the legacys
