whitetiger
forget the intake. get an accessport and get 10 times the power an the intake will give you. All you will get with an intake is noise.

TSiWRX
They're all noisy. The Perrin is notoriously hard to tune for, even by people who have extensive experience tuning them. However, it can be tuned, and properly done, it's just as good as any other item of this breed. Remote maps are available for this intake, but it may not provide an optimal match. The K&N has been noted to provide a good, stable airflow - and thus should be much easier to tune. Remote maps are available for this piece as well, and reportedly provide a good fit. The SPT currently is probably the least favored of this bunch - just search around, and you'll find out why. You should not combine any of these intakes with an "off the shelf" map - especially if your vehicle is otherwise upgraded. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
edkwon
Why did the OP not post this question in the intake and exhaust forum? Ed
