autobahned
A foreign car magazine described JDM Legacy GT 2.0: "The combination of the Symetrical 4WD drive system and Bilstein shocks produce a compliant and comfortable ride...any aftermarket modification to the suspension will destroy the premium balance of the stock tuning." Question: Are we gonna get Bilstein shocks for USDM also?
SUBE555
Not likely. The Bilstein shocks are also only on the Spec B IIRC, and from the guys I've talked to in Japan that if you do a bit of tracking and can take the extra abuse on a daily basis, get it, if not, the std GT is more than plenty compliant. :) The only Bilsteins I know Subaru using are rather rigid. They're good, but overly stiff for American roads in general.
MSB
You did remember correctly, and they are rather rigid, on good roads the ride is fine, but on worn bits of tarmac you can feel everything.
