caramall2
If this happens again, just have your friendly tuner take the plates out .. and then use the AP to have the code turned off Can you explain? What plates?
wrxlvr
Mine did this after getting high centered (and a lot of wheelspin to get out). I pulled the code with the Accessport and reset it. No issues since.
ATB
It was a code for fuel mixture too lean. Dealer has no idea what caused it..check fuel system and found no problems and the car was no longer throwing the code. They even called Subaru. So they reset it and gave me back the car. Hmmm...hope I didn't buy someone else's lemon. I guess I can call the prev owner...he left his service records (including home #) in the owners manual
caramall2
I had the tumble generator replaced. Drove it away from the dealer and within a few hours the engine light came back on. Temperature also dropped which seems to be a regular corresponding event. I'll try to pull codes again and bring back to the dealership. I wish I could just disable the "cruise disabler" at least, even if the check engine light is on (anyone know how to do that--why did they make it that way anyway??). It's a bit frustrating when I want to use it.
