mcmillonbe Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 Hey Everyone: We just moved here a few months ago, and Just bought a 98 Legacy L wagon last week. This is my 5th Subaru and I am in need of a good tire shop for snow tires @ $300 or less. Tires need to be snow tires and versatile enough for Cottonwood Canyon, a lot of city driving and some highway travel. I am originally from Wyoming, so I can drive fine in the snow. I have looked at Big 0, Costco, Sams Club etc but would like some actual drivers who drive up the canyon to chime in if possible. thanks, btw Alta and Snowbird looked nice this am with 12"+ of new snow. I don't know where you live so I don't know which tire shops are around you. As far as tires, I don't think you can go wrong with blizzack ws50's.
