SuperhawkLGT
In for details, so pissed when I found out my car didn't have fold downs!
acooper5
i did do it. There was difficultly with the passenger seat that is all. Everything bolts in for the rear seats and the front seats but the occupant detection system was different in the 05 and 07 model of the passenger seat which tells the airbag not to arm. But it is fixable. Semper Fi.

acooper5
alright guys, I hardly ever come to this site anymore. but use the search button in the interior forums section, I have pics up, I put them up probably around Feb/March of this year. The back seat is the easy, eveything bolts right in. No issues. Semper Fi.
acooper5
also to answer your other question. I got them from phoenix racing in Phoenixville, PA. He is Subaru's SCCA racing team. He had two brand new 07 spec b's given to him by subaru and he ripped them up to make them race cars. Thats were I got the seats from. Semper Fi. SubLo
I have a st00pid question: are the mechanicals independent (or on the outside) of the seats themselves? I mean could the latches, hinges, etc. be bolted up to existing seats? I ask because there is very little hope for me red leather '06. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...

acooper5
the hinges are built into the seats. unforunately I think the only way to do it is to totally change seats. Semper Fi.
Hops
Bit of a thread revival, but here is a complete walk-through on this swap and rear seat folding function: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125937 Buy my cars!
GTwannaB
OK, I see the build threads and I saw someone who said the parts are only about $500. I went to this site and started pricing out parts - $900+ and counting.http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getJointLocator&siteid=213824&chapter=&Sectionids=0,51873&groupid=2682&subgroupid=2675&componentid=9559&make=32&model=Legacy&year=2007&graphicID=7523516&callout=1&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0 One question is, do I need to replace the bottom portion of the seat on my 2005 or can I keep the bottom portion and just buy the parts for the 2007 back portion?
