Sandia Motorsports Road Course.....short notice.

Hey Guys and Gals, I know this is short notice but. There is an Open Track Day on Sunday (15th) at Sandia Motorsports Park on the 1.65 road course.

 

So far we have 14 people confirmed to run on the Sandia Motorsports Road Course. It's an open track day so there will be more than just us Subie owners out there. I would love to see some more people come out and play. Even if its just to come and spectate.

 

Here are Directions if you need them: (coming from Albuquerque)

 

1). Take I-40 west to Paseo de Vulcan

2). Turn left(south) off the Exit and cross Central Ave

3). Turn Right(west) on the Frontage Road and go 4 Miles

4). Turn Left at the stop sign(Shelly RD)., And head south

5). At the stop sign (Speedway Blvd) turn right and then go in the gate on the left.

 

Remember you will need to bring a Helmet or Borrow one.

 

To Race the Fee is $70 for the day.

The Gates will open at 7:30am

Drivers meeting is at 8:45am (Must attend if you want to race)

First cars will be on the track at 9:00am

The Track will be closing at 5:00pm (so we will get plenty of seat time)

Instructors might be available to run with the rookie's (its nice for the first session or 2)

 

If the Event gets cancelled due to weather, I would like to still meet up with you guys.

 

So, Alternate location for a gathering will be Horse and Angel Tavern at the Corner of Eubank and Juan Tabo for Lunch(12:00pm)
