NYsFinest
Thinking about picking this one up, been itching for a custom exhaust for awhile now. http://www.borla.com/applications/lookup.aspx/2005/Subaru/Legacy/GT+LimitedT-304_Stainless_Steel_Cat-Back_System/140123/ Quick question, do I need to go ahead and get the new header as well, or can that wait? legacy2005
the exhaust is nice...i run the borla exhaust as well its a nice tone and not to loud. you dont need to get the header right away...but some kinda header would be good if you plan on making modding heavily Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage
NYsFinest
Thanks, searched around the forums for the exhaust system and one dealer is offering it in the 700 dollar range. Not bad. I'm itching right now, I got the mod bug going on.
badfish11
They really charge an arm and a leg. I bought a borla for my 03 accord for $495 when it first came out for my model.

NYsFinest
I just purchased it today. $750.00 free shipping. I priced it out w/ various online sites and this was the best deal I could find. Other sites had better prices but after shipping, etc included it got up there in price. Can't wait to put it on. So far heard great things about this exhaust. Glad I finally took the plunge.

NYsFinest
He said he was all out. And I'm fine w/ the price. Plenty of other places, some on this site were way overpriced.

NYsFinest
Thanks. I went elsewhere b/c he was out of stock. And I'm fine w/ the price considering what a majority of places were charging. Its already been ordered.

CMyLGT
Hey nice purchase man, as soon as i get $750 I am getting that exhaust too. Could you put up some pictures/sound clips once you have it on?
Guest
It looks like this exhaust cuts the ground clearnance tremendously. I saw it once installed on an LGT wagon and it almost looked it was draged over the road. Anyone has clearance issues? What about sound?

whitetiger
Ive installed a couple if borla exhausts. It never looked like it compromised grond clearance. Its also pretty quiet for an afermarket exhaust.
Joon525
It's a little low but nothing crazy. http://www.joon525.com/images/Legacy/Detail/IMG_0185.jpg Also, once you go Stage 2 the exhaust note DEFINITELY gets louder.
NYsFinest
Just got home. Sounds great. Not loud at all which I enjoy. Nice low growl kinda. Put on the radio and you don't even hear it at all in the cabin.
