derkahn
Has anyone tried to install a whiteline anti lift kit in an 05 or newer legacy gt or outback? Whiteline said that new legacy suspension has different geometry and may not work correctly. can I just add more spacers to make up for subframe differences? thanks,
jerami1981
are you trying to lift it?
captainmorgan
I think you misunderstand what an ALK is for. Its is to add a bit more caster and to stiffen the control arm up to reduce the amount of front dive/lift during braking and acceleration. Also Legacy's use totally different setups and Whiteline does not make a solution for Legacy's at this time.
derkahn
thanks I know what the alk is for I am not trying to lift it I was told that among some other things the subframe height, depth, thickness is different
captainmorgan
Its a completely different chassis. Nothing is the same.
driggity
Its a completely different chassis. Nothing is the same. Yep. The biggest obstacle is the fact that the rear of the control arm attaches to the chassis in a completely different way on the Legacy vs the Impreza. captainmorgan
Of which, I think the Legacy gets shafted. The Impreza suspension design is so much better in so many ways I can't even start.
