BigNYDog3
I curb the shit out of my aftermarket wheel and I am wondering if anyone knows a shop or guy that can fix it.
RockyMtnGT
That suks dude! I curbed the hell out of BOTH my right side wheels going through the damn dry-cleaners drive-thru the other day. grr I'm calling around if i find a place I'll let you know. BTW is it just curb rash or are they bent? Also are your whells painted? I have steel Grey Rota Tarmac IIs, and I'm pretty sure i can get touch up paint for mine. But I want to get the "scuff" buffed out too. I'm so pissed!
RockyMtnGT
Ok I got some advice from another forum www.RMCB5.com "Woody's wheel works can take care of it for you. that or there is a DIY article in the www.audiworld.com tech forums - look for "NASA racer wheel repair." djmonkey841
I don't know if they fix scuff, but my buddy just went to this place this summer to get his wheel fixed from being bent. They did a great job and it wasn't too high priced either. I'll ask him what the name of the shop was.
BigNYDog3
The wheel isn't bent it is Motegi Touge racing wheel with the polished lip and the curb chewed the shit out of the lip, no paint damage just chewed up. RockyMtnGT
Your car looks sick! Really nicely done. I'll have to keep an eye out for you out on the road. I've had a few people tell me to go to Woody's Wheel Works, so I'm gonna give them a try once I put my stock rims/snows back on the car.

wrxlvr
Can these shops do the stockers too? When I got my car, it had a nice gash on one of the wheels and a matching chunk out of the stock tire. I'd like to get it fixed before I powdercoat them. BigNYDog3
I am pretty sure that they can. They are all about the same price of $125-150. Performance Wheel and Tire sends them out to Spec Wheel and Woody's Wheel Works is a little private owned shop out of a garage size shop but they do nice work too. I am going to wait until I put my winter stock wheels back on.
