flyboy333
I was looking at cars on Ebay recently, and to my surprise, I found an 05 LGTL with 54,000 miles for "ONLY $5,400 IF YOU EMAIL ME!". It had ugly chrome wheels and XM radio, and was quite obviously an Email scam. I have seen Supra TTs and other high end cars used in these scams but never a Legacy. Strangenes. -TT-
and you decided to make this thread to warn us? or to advertise a scam deal on ebay?
atouk
I've heard con-artists sometimes use ads like that to unload flood cars. You may actually get a 05 LGT for $5400, but it will be a polished up heap of rust and dead fish.
flyboy333
Actually, I was just saying that now the Legacy is significant enough for scammers to start using them. Usually the scam cars are $50,000 and up. Its a significant compliment.Really!
mach_six
Any car can be used for the same scam, why Subaru Legacy not sure. They're not that in demand. Check on Craigslist you'll see lots of these too good to be true deals and you know what that means...
silverfool
5400 for a flood car...that can't be too bad. i'm sure some of the more mechanically inclined on here can keep it running.
