On my '05 Legacy GT, the rear center seat belt retractor failed to disengage and was replaced under warranty. The front passenger seat belt retractor has a buzzing rattle thats especially noticable going over right hand turns on rippled pavement. The dealer has replaced the retractor twice with new units and it does the same thing. The service rep asked me if it works. I said I didn't want to get into an accident to find out. I stated that the unit has something loose inside and this comprimises the safety design. It's currently being investigated by a Subaru rep. Any problems others have noticed with the belt retractors?
