Legacy2.5R Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 C-west has recently come out with a lip kit for the legacy....it is intended to fit the Japanese version of the car, so it needs to be modified. i bought the front part of it and it did not reach back to the wheel wells, so easy bolt on was not in the cards. my friend and i had to fiberglass mold the entire lip to the bumper. i wont lie, this was a pain in the ass, but it gives it a cool integrated look. during this process i knocked out the center support in the lower intake on the bumper, for a more JDM look. as im typing this, the bumper is primered in my friends garage and we are painting it today. as soon as its done ill get some pictures up. Legacy2.5R Posted September 7, 2006 Author Share Posted September 7, 2006 Its all one peice now, which is kinda bad for the snow, i originally intended on the lip to be bolt on. i knew it needed modifications to fit the bumper, but even after making them, it still fell about 1 1/2 inches short of the wheel wells. in order to make it reach back i cut a garbage can lid and filled in the rest with more fiberglass. im painting it as soon as i can but im pretty busy and its hard to get time to do it. i hopeing if not this weekend the next for sure. ill get some more pictures with different angles on it tho in the next few days. and yeah... its a 2.5i... im 18 and in college, im lucky i could afford that. its no GT but i love it and its a damn good performing car for the money.
