TurboAWD Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 As a couple others have said, getting an Outback was a concession to the wife in my case, too. (It's also "her" car.) Another rather obvious reason someone may have chosen the Outback: the Outback was the only way to get a Legacy wagon with Navi. To be honest, had I been able to get a Legacy GT wagon with Navi, I would have done so. Of course, that would have lead to another 3-4 years of my wife saying "I wished we got the Outback - that's what I really wanted" as she did between 1999-2001, when we owned our 1999 Legacy GT wagon.
