turboman38
Want to get a crucial down pipe. I know this mod requires a resistor to fake the computer out to think the O2 readings are ok. I was talking to a fellow gearhead and he asked what the range of the o2 sensor readings were. He came up with the idea of hooking up a variable resistor to the O2 sensor plug in the wiring harness. His theory was if you can adjust the resistance it would tell the computer to richen or lean out the mixture going to the engine. Everybody knows that SOA runs a very rich mixture. If I could change the resistance with a variable resistor and lean the mixture out could I make more horsepower? Is the amount of control the O2 feeds to the computer even enough to validate this theory? Am I totally nuts for even thinking about this? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! rc0032
The dp dose not require a resistor, the uppipe does Moved
