tmat3
About 3 years ago, I changed the clutch on a 2001 Impreza RS. I pulled the transmission out rather than removing the engine. In my mind, that was easier. Looking at my Legacy, the clutch installation should be similar. The only difference is that GT models have intercooler rather than an airbox (found on a '01 RS). see here: http://home.nycap.rr.com/tmat3/clutch.html On 2002 WRX models, I think you had to remove a bolt(?) at the clutch fork before removing the transmission. You may or may not need to remove this bolt on 2005+ Legacy. I don't know.
