JD05GT
I was wanting to buy another LGT. I was looking for the new ride to be a wagon. What gives on not having a manual in the LGT wagon? So the question comes to you guys that know all about the suspension on these awesome machines. Should I just buy an OBXT manual and put different springs on it and debadge it? If so, whats a good suspension setup to get the OBXT back down to handling like the LGT I already have.
Boulderguy
Simplest is changing the sway bars & going to a coilover setup. And tires, of course. Downside is you'll lose most all the off-roadability of the OBXT.
rc0032
There are a few other differences though: I’m sure someone will chime in with everything but the OB brakes are smaller, it has a higher final drive ratio and it has the pimp factor. eVoMotion
Lots of people went with OBXT in order to get 5MT wagon...and then dropped them to proper height. http://legacygt.com/forums/subaru-outback/34964-after-owning-outback-would.html We offroad ours often. http://legacygt.com/forums/outback-photos/37711-obxt-mushroom-hunt.html Then browse here and see all the OBXT wagons http://legacygt.com/forums/legacy-photos/26202-need-see-hooked-up.html Upgrades to match, then beat stock LGT handling in order of priority tires swaybars brakepads coilovers big wheels and tires BBK
