Xenonk Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 tires are wear and tear, a rim isnt (unless you have a knack for wrecking rims on a regular basis).. but you can't function without the tire.. 17" are commonly cheaper than the 18" counter part.. but that's up to you if you want to keep on replacing with 18" tires.. the speedo wont be off by that much, unless you go REALLY big, but by then you will have issues fitting it under the stock suspension.
