16psibrick
First off, sorry for hte bad pics, my lack of skills and crappy camera leaves me no choice. I am sure plenty of other pics will follow soon! Anyway, i recently had the chance to work on a beautiful Lambo yellow G35 Coupe. It has become my official show car so to speak. The goal for this car is something i have long dreamed of doing -- an install that can get respect on the show circuit, yet still keep to my principle of simplicity, elegant, and classy. i was unrestricted by the need to preserve trunk space, so the only goal is that it looks nice and sounds good so lets get started with the pics! the enter stack allt he way through the car has been painted two tone black and yellow. I molded the double din finisher so the eclipse nav unit can sit pretty flush...again, sorry for the bad pics: http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg1.JPG http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg2.JPG here are some more shots of hte painted center console http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg3.JPG http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg4.JPG http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg10.JPG
16psibrick
DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3 3 way components makes up the front stage. The midbass is sealed in a fiberglass cup in the door, and the midrange and tweeter are flushed into the factory kicks: http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg5.JPG http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg6.JPG Note DLS logo on the stock grille http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg8.JPG the DLS subbass controller is hidden away in the center console: http://simplicity.elitecaraudio.org/showg9.JPG moving on to the trunk. Starting off with a floating amp rack idea suggested by the customer, this is where we ended up two metal plates were welded to the stillden strut brace, andt hen the amp rack bolted to it. The crossovers curves out of hte floor, holding two xovers each side. the image dynamics idmax sub sits in a recessed curved well int he middle, and the massive DLS A7 5 channel amp floats above. the install features all black wiring, passed through neatly, parts painted to match the exterior, and black vinyl floor. here are the pics from all the angles:

16psibrick
well, htis is a partial sponsorship vehicle...so... and i didnt provide the headunit which is well over1k... if i were have to guess, not counting the cost to paint, whcih for this car, paiting all the yellow pieces in the 3 stage lambo paint was about 300 bucks... anyway, not counting the painting...i would guestimate total cost including all equipment (including headunit), and labor at around 6k total give or take a few hundred keep in mind both the amp and the speakres are close to 1k in cost here are exterior pics of hte car http://i.hincity.com/media/photos/cars/4216/o_75922.jpg http://i.hincity.com/media/photos/cars/4216/o_22667.jpg http://i.hincity.com/media/photos/cars/4216/o_75921.jpg http://i.hincity.com/media/photos/cars/4216/o_75925.jpg APS single turbo too and here are better pics taken by the customer himself , it better shows off the color http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g24/globaltuning/trunkcomplete1.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g24/globaltuning/interiorfromdriverside-1.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g24/globaltuning/trunkcomplete4.jpg i iwll get some night time pics when it gets dark in a few hours
