MTlegacygtx
I have a Wilwood 6 piston WRX setup on my LGT. I am due for my 15000 mile rebuild and was wondering how much this typically costs part and service-wise. What exactly is supposed to be done on a rebuild. I am experiencing some pulsation during high speed braking. But I'm not braking for long. 90-80 mph Will they simply resurface the rotors? Do I just have to replace some seals on the calipers? LittleBlueGT
The pulsation should have nothing to do with the calipers. Uneven pad deposits on rotors. Xenonk
that's the one thing I dont like Wilwoods being not sealed.. my guess is anywhere from $50 to $100 per caliper.. Subaru also sells rebuild kits for the stock calipers for about $40 something per kit I believe.. Keefe
PhilT
I noticed that the rubber boots on the stock calipers are perished around the piston, from the heat presumably. Are these easy to change without a complete strip down, and is it should be something I should be concerned about ? Subaru sells a kit to repair those, I believe they may come with instructions, if not, you can always look up the vacation pix. Keefe
