jen_spacemodz
Why does the Legacy GT now have dual exhaust and what year was the switch from single? I have always understood a straight through exhaust was preferred for turbo applications, sti and wrx have single. Is it just the look?

Is it just the look? the Legacy actually does just have one main pipe under there that is split into two pipes near the end of the car.. the dual is just there for looks.. pretty sexy that way.. nothing wrong with it over the one.. many have proved that the car gain a better flow as there's more room for the exhaust to flow from one small pipe to two other pipes.. you can still just do one main pipe all the way to the rear and to save weight on the car, but that's just up to you if you want to run a single muffler on a bumper that has two cutouts for two mufflers..
