9sunset Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 I am a current 2006 Legacy 2.5i (auto) owner (I traded-in my 2001 Forester L) , just got a loaner 2006 Forester X from dealer; the following are some of their differences from what I observed: Legacy 2.5i seem quite a bid quieter, less body lean on cornering, less road noise, more storage room, better gas mileage, also there is a manual shift on Legacy; otherwise they are very close in spec.
