deadeye
I Have a 05 GT Ltd Wagon with about 4800 mi. on it. The last couple nights I drove it, the low beam lights seem to go out about 30-40 yds and have a DISTINCT black line or cutoff. Its almost like a cardoard covers the upper 1/4 of the windshield ! The brights are Ok.. Any of you experienced this. I called SOA-they said "On a dark, unlit road that occurs." ???? I am nowhere near my,or any dealer. Tks.. mccorry
The cut off is normal.... it is to prevent blinding oncoming drivers.
Fallschirmjaeger
Normal, and a very modern design. Once you're used to not being able to see where you don't really need to look, you will appreciate the light being focused on where you need it instead of the branches of trees. forestir
I'm guessing you see the cutoff only 30 to 40 yds out because the road you observe this on is hilly or uneven? It's possible your lights are out of alignment...
