Well, i think i did alright. This was my first time with my new tien flex coilovers. I dialing as much camber as i could for the first 4 runs but i think by doing that, it toed me out up front with made it feel like my steering as slow. for the second 3 runs i put it back to what i use on the road. the steering improved but i think my cornering grip and speed suffered for it. I ran in street-mod as #15 here are the results.

i think next time im gonna run in ESP, the competition will be easier. Those EVO's in SM are rediculous.

Awesome! You did pretty well! You've lit a fire under my arse. I gotta get out there next time. I know you told us about this beforehand. I had not time.

Hell yeah. I'm on vacation starting tomorrow until next Wednesday (San Fran).

Which one do you go to? Englishtown's Raceway Park? Have to chat with the old lady to let me out for the day.

Ahh... the joys of family life.

usually, with toe out, the turn-in is quick. It should have had a lot of bite in the front end. what you are actually feeling is too much caster from switching from one direction to the other.. as the more caster the car has, the more dynamic camber the car will have when you turn the wheel.. you'll notice that the car will actually sit higher when the wheels are straight compared to the wheels full locked to one direction.. from left to right turn, the car's height will go from Low to High and back to low again.. the high is the centered position of the steering wheel/tires pointing straight.

btw, I know Kevin Lau who drove that Evo IX, he was at the Prosolo, also a rookie driver for autox. Nice guy and pretty fast. Looks like the rest of the Jersey region wasnt quite as fast as I thought.. looking at the numbers, STS looks like a good 1 second behind the pace, and a few others look even slower.. there must have been a lot of speed somewhere and not many people were picking it up..
