Longitude Posted July 11, 2006 Author Share Posted July 11, 2006 I heard on the news last night that this was definitely gang related, and NOT A DRAG RACE. This is a brief on what 10News said. The teen who died from gunshots last Friday once tipped police on previous gang activity. So it appears the street gang sought revenge on the young man. The teen was regarded as a "good guy." He was to begin study at SDSU this August pursuing a law degree. I saw a makeshift memorial at the intersection of MM & Camino Ruiz (at the Shell station). Family and friends were there.
