gibjer
OK, me and scottydon't came up with an idea for a gathering of sorts... Gran Turismo Challenge West When: Saturday July 8th Where: Casa de Jer 79 Maple Ter West Springfield, MA 01089 http://tinyurl.com/qmnqg (It's the TAN house right on the corner) Time: 1:00 PM - Whenever Parking: I have enough room for two other cars in my driveway, the people that know where I live can park there, for the others coming just park in front of my house or whereever you can Who's In: - Jer (NASIOC, MassDriven) - Scotty Dont (NASIOC, MassDriven) - Turbofonz (MassDriven) - 302 Fox (MassDriven) - Dragula (Massdriven) - JackFFR1846 +1 Johnathan(9y/o ringer) (NASIOC) - Redneck Ricer (NASIOC, MassDriven) OK, here's what people said they'd bring if they came, while we have 6 stations setup, if we get one or two "extras" it would allow for people to leave early if they wanted to. Jer - PS2 - Two TVs, (one old 19", one 32" HD) - 16 port network switch, and cables, - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 game - House - Grill Scotty - PS2 - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 Game - TV (If needed) turbofonz - PS2 - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 Game - TV 302 Fox - PS2 - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 Game - TV Dragula - PS2 (sans network adapter) - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 Game - TV JackFFR 1846 - PS2 (sans network adapter) - GT4 Steering wheel - GT4 Game So, any others want to join ? Things that would help, PS2 with network adapter (I'm looking to pic up the network adapter before that date as I don't have one) although I suppose we can set up one station for some 1 on 1 split screen action. And obviously more PS2s with networking, TVs, copies of the game, and idealy more of the GT4 wheel to go along with it, although if you want to run with a joystick or gamepad you're welcome to. Post up interest, and as we get closer to the date we'll firm up details. Update 5/26 9am - We now have 6 interested parties with all the equipment, so it looks like this is definately a GO!!! Now lets see how many circuit breakers we can blow lol. - Added the address and info to the top of the post '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/

Precise
hmm you could just do a buy and return from a B&M store (a la best buy). Just use it for a day and return it before your 30 days are up. of course, its a last ditch effort kind of thing
gibjer
Ya, could do that, but they've been discontinued for a long time now, so noone had them, picked 2 up off ebay fairly cheap.
