Brand of tires (some have larger circumference than others even for the same sizes), tread depth, tire pressure, etc will all effect your speedo reading. sk_leb Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Interesting thread we have going here... I just went for a drive ( on stock tires ) and my Droid X's GPS was dead on. I set my cruise control at 70 and the GPS said 70-71. I was driving a little slower at 35 and my GPS said 35. Not sure if it's my phone that makes a difference?
