DaveZ Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 I'm looking at a Legacy sedan in Vancouver WA, clean carfax (ex-rental), very nice shape except some stained upholstery, one exterior scratch. Tires in great shape. $17,500 looked pretty good but the locals are quoting $19,900 for a NEW SpecialEdition, which gets me moonroof, 17 wheels, power seat, and full warrantee etc. New one seems like a no brainer, the other dealer says his internet price on the used car is firm. Most people here in New England are asking around $17000 but I don't believe it is a fair price. So, to prove them wrong, I'm traveling 800mi to get one at a fair price.
