3.7L H6
Poking around Subaru's WRX page for WRX/STi pictures, when I see that it says "concept" in the url... anyway, I couldn't find the high-res versions of the secondary pictures for the STi, WRX or WRX wagon, the first ones are below. Check out the site, reason I post is because of the silver WRX: a)looks like a new color b)new wheels and c)painted calipers. Then I looked at the specs, and found that the standard WRX now has 250hp and 245ft. lbs. Did I miss something? This is the first published stuff I've found on it- or has the JDM model been like this for a while. I am almost certain the USDM MY06 WRX will have 250hp. Also, I saw a 4EAT SPORTSHIFT is available for the WRX. I assume this is the JDM MY05 WRX, to be released in the USDM for our MY06, similar to the redesign/release of the Legacy/Outback. eatV8
I don't see whats new about those Impreza's? They are the MY04 Impreza's in Japan. The STi spec C has those wheels because it is the bare Spec C without brembos as people in Japan who buy the spec C for rally do not use the brembos or factory alloys for rally, So Subaru sell the spec C like this one also to cut the price lower for those teams etc. make sense? SUBE555
I also noted to him in IM that the higher performance engine is due to different fuel and AVCS allowing for the tuning of slightly more power, as well as using a VF35 turbo that I believe may be a slight bit smaller than a TD04 for better low-end. They've been using that setup for a few years now I believe. eatV8's got the rest that I can think of.

These are all options however...

3.7L H6
Thanks everyone. Intersting. And yeah on the Spec C, my friend wants smaller brakes so he can do that stuff, just didn't get why it had those bare wheels, most people get their own I suppose.
