jsalicru
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=14078305#post14078305 We have a full set of 5 Falken fk-451's ,4 of them have 200 miles on them and one has zero miles on it. perfect condition 99.8%tread left on the set of 4. 100% tread on the fifth one. Cost was $130 plus tax each tire! That is $650.00 for the set, before taxes. asking $499.00 for all five tires. Thanks for looking, tires are located near LAX 235-40-18 If I wasn't wanting 19s for the GTi, I'd give it some serious though. More so because the GTi accepts a full size spare. FWIW - after my desert rendevous with a huge eff'n pothole, I decided I wasn't going to rely on the donut wheel/tire as my spare. SUBE555 was good enough to hook me up with a good used wheel and I picked up another for a spare. A MPS AS 225/45x17 on the stock wheel fits perfectly in the spare well with room for a larger wheel / tire combo (ala the 235-40-18). You just give up the foam tray which is okay by me.
