i used heat shrink to cove the metal leads, then wrapped it all up with electrical tape.....

Caution!!!!!!!

these get very hot when running for a while...not melting plastic hot, just hurt your finger hot...

attach one lead to the white wire and one lead to the black and your done..

you could chose to run extra wire off these and mount them elsewhere but this is how i did it

ps not responsible for any damages that may occur using this mod, i got the mod from someone else and just did it myself,,however this is the same product that has been used for this led bulbs came out so i see no reasons for problems..enjoy

Did you actually disassemble the turn signal in the rearview mirror? Id so, how did you do it? My clear lens is cracked and needs to be replaced but I can't figure how the damn thing comes apart.

Look for the "vacation pix" manual. They show you how to get the "scalp cap) off the mirror which allows access to the lens for the turn signals. Basically, you remove the mirror glass, undo clips behind the glass, and the cap pops off.

I would say yes, they will flash fast. You are reducing the load, and the flasher module will go fast to tell you a light is out. When I go LED, I am gonna switch to a LED compatible flasher=>no resistors.

BTW, when I LED'd my Jeep, I melted those RadioShack resistors. Bought a couple of good (like $7ea) resistors and have no problems since.

Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!
