karlxmas Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 My 05 Leg Gt's tranny is dead after 28000 miles. I had it in the shop after the clutch went out after 20000 miles. I dont how it happened, either they forgot to put fluid in it or they busted a seal but it had no tranny fluid in it. I was about 50 miles away from Uvalde, Texas, and my 5th gear just disappeared. I put three qaurtz of GL-5 in it and limped 400 miles in 4th at 63 mph. Not a fun ordeal. Now its in the shop and I have no car and Subby doesnt give out loaners. Suggestions?
