CasopoliS Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 I started the car and no lights or any sign of life out of both the radio and climate control. I turned on the lights and the buttons lit up but the screens were blank and nothing was working. I was randomly hitting buttons and toying with it and it finally all came on at once. I am pretty sure it came on when I hit the LOAD button on the CD player, but I was hitting so many it could have been unrelated. Anyone had this fluke? Only thing I have done recently is hook up gauges to the ACC wire behind the trip computer. I also hooked them up to the purple illumination wire. I cannot imagine them drawing too much power or effecting the radio like that. Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tmat3 Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 I had the same exact thing happening to me about 2 weeks ago. Everything was working fine until I stopped for gas. I restarted the car and I noticed everything was dead. I kept on hitting various buttons, and when I hit the Load button a few times, it came back alive. It hasn't happened since that day.
