mattg
I wish it was mine, but this setup belongs to brack. I'm just hosting and posting for him. Cobb DP, Perrin mid pipe & Y pipe, another set of Perrin Y pipe flanges welded to 2.5 mandrel bent piping going to Magnaflow 14" long, 8x5 oval mufflers and then nickle plated black chrome oval tips. One of a kind! http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack.bmp.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack2.bmp.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack3.bmp.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack4.bmp.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack5.bmp.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/mattg/legacygt/large/brack6.bmp.jpg

mattg
I "heard" it sounds great, per brack. I'm sure he'll chime in sometime. he did say it's probably a little too loud for someone like me who has to use their car for work. I'm thinking I may need to get a separate car for work. xtremeaudio44
That's almost the exact setup I was looking at. I was just trying to figure out how to fabricate that small portion from the y-pipe to the muffler without it being a hack job. Is that an actual part that Perrin carries or are those cut off the Perrin mufflers? I'm looking at everything the same except with some Borla Pro XS mufflers. Thrasher
That is exactly what I was thinking of doing. Exactly. It looks like he took the Perrin 3" catback and installed Magnaflows (extra points for the black finish, btw) instead of the canons that come w/the Perrin catback. If it was originally a Perrin catback, how does the volume compare? I just had my stock mufflers reinstalled at the end of my Perrin catback (essentially had an axleback installed). I like having a quiet car again, even if I lost a little top end.
Brack
The pipe that was used to weld between the flanges and the mufflers is a 2.5" U , cut in the center. You have to know what you are doing, and the exhaust Guy (his name) does. Mike

Brack
OK I think I want to sell these mufflers. They will bolt up to the stock Y pipe and the Perrin Y pipe, They attach to the stock hangers just like the stock mufflers. The tips tuck in nice to the bumper cutouts( Better than stock). The mufflers are Magnaflow #12225 2.5 inlet, 2.5 outlet $280 picked up $320 shipped add 3% for Paypal payment. If you don't mind, before you take them off could you please take a sound clip? Ok I'm questioned out.

I will go back to the stockers for now. I do not have the ability to make a sound clip... and I think sound clips are overrated:icon_tong Mike PS How can I put a link to this in the Members For Sale section Cant seem to cut and paste

05BluePearlGT
Has anybody else hear these around you? Ive heard Magnaflow on a stock LGT with silencer replace with straight pipe, and magnaflow mufflers were used. That was it and it sounded good. But I dont really remember. Would you not recommend these to me buying them. I wouldnt be buying them off you, sorry. theres a shop that would hook me up and install them. But just curious if I should not get these. They are supposed to be the same design as Borla inside, correct?
Anibalz
Well, if they're a little too loud for your taste, then would be same for me since I like exhausts on the quiet side.
